range Moto phones battle it out Lenovo owned Motorola Mobility is on a roll, especially in the under Rs 20,000 price segment.
The company, in a bid to hit every price point, has so far launched a flurry of smartphones in the Indian market. In fact, it wouldn't be wrong to call it a new age Asus, because that is precisely what Lenovo is acting like now a days. louis vuitton alma us The company currently has the following smartphones to its name, in ascending order: the Moto E3 Power, the Moto G4 Play, the Moto G4, the Moto G4 Plus and the Moto M. The devil is in the details most of the time and as such it is important that buyers know (and understand) before hand what they are getting into. After all, everyone wants to make an informed choice. Everyone wants to get a bang for the buck. Here's a point by point dissection of the Moto G4, the G4 Plus and the recently launched Moto M. The Moto G4 Play has been kept out of this comparison because it retails at under Rs 10,000 and therefore it wouldn't be fair to include it in this list. The Moto lentes louis vuitton amazon M looks (and feels) more like a Lenovo phone than a Moto phone, to be honest. For one it is all metal to the T which means it looks and feels more premium than the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus (which are basically the same smartphones on the outside). The Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus are all plastic. The Moto M, because it is all metal, is slightly heavier (163 gram), but it is also slimmer (7.9mm) than both the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus. The Moto M ups its premium spree by giving users USB Type C for charging and data syncing. It also comes with what the company calls splash guard water protection so it can withstand some accidental spillage. Note that it isn't completely water proof. Unlike the Moto G4 Plus, the Moto M has its fingerprint scanner on the rear, which makes lots of sense. The Moto G4 Plus has an oddly shaped fingerprint scanner on the front and also gives you an on screen home button right above it. The Moto G4, in comparison, has no fingerprint scanner. Unlike the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, the Moto M has a bottom firing speaker. Another reason why the Moto M is so much more a Lenovo phone than a Moto phone is the fact that it comes with Dolby Atmos technology for surround sound experience. Lenovo claims that the louis vuitton alma gm vs mm sound technology on board the Moto M offers 360 degree surround sound experience which is more natural and life like. Note that it will need Dolby Atmos content to make use of its full potential. The Moto G4, the Moto G4 Plus and the louis vuitton alma rose pop Moto M come with a 5.5 inch 1080p IPS display and 401ppi pixel density. The Moto M offers slightly more screen to body ratio in comparison which means it will provide slightly more real estate to work upon. The biggest difference between the Moto M and the Moto G4/G4 Plus is the CPU under the hood. The Moto M is the first phone ever to come with a MediaTek Helio P15 (64 bit, octa core clocked at 2.2GHz) processor clubbed with 4GB RAM. There are two storage options available: 32GB and 64GB. The phone supports expandable storage of up to 256GB using a microSD card (hybrid card slot). Expandable storage is supported. The Moto G4 Plus sports a 16 megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection and laser autofocus alongside dual LED (dual tone) flash. The Moto M, on the other hand comes with a 16 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and single LED flash. The Moto G4 meanwhile has a 13 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and dual LED (dual tone) flash. On the front, the Moto M comes with an 8 megapixel camera while the Moto G4 and the G4 Plus sport a 5 megapixel front facing shooter. The Moto G, the Moto G4 Plus and the Moto M run Android Marshmallow out of the box and a stock, unmodified version of it. All these phones will be upgradable to Android Nougat. All the three phones support dualSIM and 4G LTE connectivity options. All the three phones support fast charging. Coming to the pricing, the 32GB model of the Moto M phone has been priced at Rs 15,999 in India. The company is yet to announce pricing of the 64GB model. The Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus have been priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively.
While the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus are stand alone phones, the Moto M looks like a replacement to the now aging Moto X Play, which is again, a fantastic smartphone in its own right. The Moto X Play is an excellent all rounder with an excellent camera and fantastic battery life, but like most of the previous generation Moto phones, it comes with an all plastic body. The Moto M is surely a new age Moto phone made by Lenovo but it comes at a time when there is a lot of stiff competition.
